Seeing Double

a couple days ago, before I went to campus, I was picking up some clothes to be worn to campus and my eyes fell to my soft pink sweater top that the last time I wore it was way back in 2006. It was short (at the waist) and my comfy pants was on laundry so I wore my other jeans which is hipster type and to avoid undergarments exhibition due to the hipster type pants, I wore a black long top underneath the sweater. something casual, but I thought it was something that no one would wear.

Laras and I agreed to meet up at around 12 or later at campus. when she arrived, she came up to me and I was shock because she was wearing the same style of clothing I was wearing, the same shoulder bag type, and the same white/off white canvas slip on shoes. Fortunately, the clothes were in different color. I laughed.

so how did we end up wearing the same style? I don't know.
not a big deal.
when she asked me to accompany her to accompany a friend's friend to a tour around the campus, I was being a little worried. we would be like two people matching each other having a tour around the campus, but what the hell. I prefer that than sitting doing nothing.

so how did we dress up?

I spent new year's eve on Dago. I couldn't describe the place. It was high up so I can see the city-lights below. and just before the clock turned to 12.00 am, january 1st 2009. FIREWORKS EVERYWHERE! big and small fireworks were spreading at the city below.. it was very very breathtaking..

Defending My Holga

okay, so I went home early from final-crappy-studio-days from stomachache and decided to join my boyfriend and his friends for a lunch/snack, batagor. Very smart decision. I ended up being in the bathroom -if you know what I mean- for quite a time.

and after that, a big relieve. Misery doesn't stop. My senior/friend, Pierre set his Yahoo! Messenger status to "Lomo?! Yeah right.. I got photoshop right here.." It tickles. I nearly got my stomachache back, and I don't want to. So I im-ed him. Telling him blablabla about my wonderful lomos. And he "offered" to edit a photo to make it like my holga's. Hmm..

Kampus Ajaib

Hari ini saya dan teman-teman sekelompok tugas berencana mengerjakan tugas. Tugas apa? Utilitas Bangunan. Saya dan teman-teman kebagian mengamati utilitas di Perpustakaan Pusat ITB. Saya kebagian mengamati sistem elektrikal. Hemm.. Lumayan dapet blue print gedung dari petugas di sana, jadi tinggal liat livenya aja deh..

Tapi.. Saya tidak akan membahas tugas.. Udah lama banget saya ga ke perpus pusat. Pas mau ketemu teknisi gedung, saya melewati ruang koleksi dan meja-meja (yang harusnya jadi) tempat baca. Dan saya menemukan ini..

Objek penglihatan: Meja belajar Perpustakaan
Asumsi berdasarkan penglihatan: Dasar (Anak) ITB. Kelakuannya ada-ada aja. Iya iya tau.. Jangan corat coret!

Pas lagi jalan balik ke gedung Arsitektur, melewati Labtek Farmasi, dan saya menemukan ini...

Objek penglihatan: Atap Labtek Farmasi dengan tambahan keset yang sudah berlumut dan tumbuh tanaman (?)
Asumsi berdasarkan penglihatan:

1. Karena talang di atas atap corrugated metal sheet ini bocor, akhirnya air yang bocor dari talang menimbulkan bunyi-bunyi dan mengganggu di ruang bawahnya. Penyelesaiannya adalah dengan melemparkan keset ke daerah tetesan talang. "UPS! Meleset! Susah nih ngambilnya. Yaudah deh..."
2. "Jemur keset di sini kayanya enak nih.. Moga-moga cepet kering deh... "

Cat-women Jaman Sekarang

ada apakah dengan wanita dan kucing?
wanita takut kucing, lagi jaman kah? atau emang berlebihan aja tingkah wanita-wanita ini?

saya merujuk pada wanita-wanita yang bereaksi pada kucing dengan:

1. menjauh dengan manuver muter-muterin ngumpet di belakang temennya
   
2. tereak-tereak "kyaa..kyaa kucing!! heeuuu usirin doong.." (padahal kucingnya diem dengan jarak 1 meter lebih dari wanita itu)
3. memukul atau melakukan perbuatan fisik pada kucing (misalnya: menendang, menggebuk kucing dengan sepatu atau sendal, nendang-nendang angin gaya ngusir kucing,dan lain-lain) padahal kucingnya cuma lewat aja
4. dan masih banyak lagi

yaelaah kucingnya cuma jalan ke arah lo.. cuma lewat doang.. santai aja kali.. kalo lewat bawah kursi lo, angkat aja kaki lo.. kalo dia berjalan mendekati lo, pergi aja menjauh.. gak usah pake ribut, gak usah pake heboh, gak usah muter-muter kaya bus manuver di jalan sempit.. beneran deh..

gapapa deh klo kaget tiba-tiba ada yang ngelus kaki lo.. trus ya abis itu tenang aje.. kalo gw jadi kucingnya gw godain deh lo.. hahaha...

A Comeback, Reunion, Nostalgia?

hemm... beberapa waktu belakangan rasanya artis-artis masa dahulu mulai kembali ke permukaan.. like it's the time for a comeback or maybe.. a reunion?
bukaan.. bukan reuni SMA atau SMP atau nostalgia.. well... tapi sebuah comeback memang memunculkan nostalgia.. sialnya atau untungnya saya hidup di jaman MTV. kepala tidak jauh-jauh dari lagu-lagu dan artis-artis yang eksis di channel anak muda ini hahaha..

kira-kira ini beberapa comeback/reunion yang menarik perhatian saya..

beberapa bulan yang lalu New Kids On The Block, boyband jaman kakak saya ngempeng, mengeluarkan single (atau bahkan sudah album saya ketinggalan berita). Summertime. dengan video klip yang udah jaman sekarang, muka yang hemm-antara-ya-dan-tidak-termakan-waktu.. ya karena jaman beda tapi orang sama jadi agak-agak gimanaaa gitu..

Britney Spears, setelah jatuh-bangun-jatuh-bangun ga tau berapa kali di hidupnya beberapa tahun belakangan ini, akhirnya bener-bener make a comeback. kalo yang ini udah jamannya gw ngerti-ngerti TV.. so i could say it's a comeback. tadi gw nonton video klipnya yang baru, Womanizer, di official sitenya. hemm... it's the britney i once saw before. comebacknya berhasil (semoga)..

dan yang paling gw bkin gw shock hari ini. BOYZONE. hahaha.. gile deh ini band. boy band maksud sayah. masanya Mas Ronan Keating. cukup berjaya sampai akhir 90-an. yeah, they're back. yah.. berasa abang gw ngeliat new kids on the block lah ketika gw liat cuplikan videonya Boyzone yang baru.. takjub lah! blm dengar gimana-gimana lagunya sih.. we'll wait and see..

Boyzone. paling merasuki saat kelas 3 SD. kakak gw yg punya kasetnya (hahah iya jamannya kaset, CD terlalu out of reach buat anak SD). trus gw apalin lagunya, teksnya gw bawa ke sekolah buat nyanyi bareng temen-temen cowo gw. anak SD tingkahnya ckckck...

kelas 6-6 SD, Britney nge-hits dengan Oops! I Did It Again. pop princess, king princess, boyband, girlband, dan band-band lainnya pokoknya belantika musik MTV lagi padet banget sama anak-anak muda ini. kekonyolan gw dan teman-teman gw, memakai nama artis-artis itu sebagai nama belakang gaul kita hahaha. well, gw mengambil personil dawson's creek sih... haha.. Irene Lindley diambil dr Jennifer Lindley (Michelle Williams). tapi adalah temen gw yg ambil ____ Spears Martin, ____ Holmes, dll. Pasaran yang berhasil ternyata..
