Letters

you came in a line

dropping in letter by letter

silent whispers like you used to

it turns to little laugh

and grow little story

a habit once shared

line by line progress

and line became words

words became letters

but, this is as far as we'd go

separate in time and place

just like yesterdays

you're fading away

you came as quick

as you'd go
